“Blood (Xue)” in the East has unique functions that we will define and explore in this section. In the West, “blood” is associated with cells (red, white and platelets), and it flows through veins and arteries. In the East (TCM), “Blood” is associated with Qi (Energy), Blood (Xue) and Jing (Essence), and it flows through the Veins, Arteries and Channels.
